Oppenheimer continued its dominant awards season form on Sunday night at the American Society of Cinematographers ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards, with Hoyte van Hoytema taking the prize for theatrical feature film.

ABC Family has greater designs on its Andie MacDowell and Erica Dasher freshman dramedy. The youth-skewing cable network has ordered eight additional episodes of its freshman scripted series Jane By Design, a source confirms to The Hollywood Reporter.

Edith Diaz, who appeared in the two Sister Act films and on landmark CBS sitcom Popi, died Dec. 19 of heart failure in Los Angeles. She was 70. Diaz credits also include such films as Born on the Fourth of July (1989), Nick of Time (1995) and more recently First Watch (2003) and Oh Baby!
